The short version
Some links on PoundLogic are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up to a product — such as an investment platform or mortgage broker — the provider may pay PoundLogic a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.
Affiliate commissions never affect:
- The numbers our calculators produce
- The order in which we mention or list products
- Whether we recommend a product or not
We label affiliate links clearly on every page that uses them.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link that tells the company at the other end which website sent the visitor. If that visitor signs up for an account or buys a product, the company pays the referring site a commission. It's a standard way that comparison and content sites are funded.
Which products we have affiliate relationships with
We are in the process of applying to affiliate programmes. This list will be updated as partnerships are approved. We currently have no active affiliate relationships — all links on this site are unaffiliated at the time of publishing.
What an affiliate relationship does not mean
An affiliate relationship does not mean:
- We recommend the product
- The product is the best in its category
- The product is suitable for you
- Our calculator favours that provider's pricing
We list products because they are useful to the reader, not because they pay the most. Where two products are similar and we have an affiliate relationship with only one, we still mention the other.
What we don't do
- We do not accept payment to change calculator outputs
- We do not accept payment to reorder product lists
- We do not run sponsored reviews disguised as editorial content
- We do not sell our email list
Regulatory context
PoundLogic follows the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidelines on disclosing commercial relationships.
